21bet Casino

Started in 2016, 21bet is a newbie to the world of sports betting and online gambling, but have managed to garner a really good name for themselves in a short space of time. In fact, they signed up 15,000 members in their first month in business! Licenced by the UK Gambling Commission, they are a UK only casino with an emphasis on sports.

Games and Software
One of the things which makes 21bet different from other online casinos is the size. There are only around 100 slots and a handful of table games here, and the software is all run by Microgaming or Realistic games, which means no NetEnt games whatsoever! While this might make your jaw drop, there are still dozens of great choices for playing, and the slots games give you a clear understanding of the RTP for each game, which is something not offered everywhere, and great for transparency.

There are also plenty of different kinds of slots games, from jackpot and progressive which have an ever-increasing pot of money to get your hands on, to video or classic arcade style. Some of the most popular choices are Extra Chilli, Bonanza, Star Dust, White Rabbit, and Deco Diamonds. There are also probably dozens of games you haven’t even heard of, which is great for anyone looking for something new.

If you click on the slots tab, you can see all the slots games listed below. There are no subcategories to organise the games by, which can make it a little time consuming to find what you need. We love that you can try so many of the games without logging in, to get a real feel for the site and see if it’s worth signing up for membership.

There is a separate tab for Jackpot games, such as Mega Moolah, More Monkeys, and everyone’s favourite- Dream Genie!

Of course, it isn’t just slots at 21bet, and you can easily shuffle between categories to look at table games. These include Blackjack and Roulette, and Video Poker.

Live Casino
One of the newest elements to 21bet, and proof that they are working hard to improve their offerings all the time, is the live casino. You can find this simply from the top toolbar of the website, and once you’re in, you can play six games. These are, Roulette, Baccarat, Blackjack, Dream Catcher, Casino Hold ‘em and Lightning Roulette. Although other live casinos might have more games to choose from, this certainly covers the basics, and alongside the other table games and video poker makes for a great addition to the site. It’s amazing to see that 21bet are just getting started, and adding new functionality and games all the time.
User Interface
As the site is small, it isn’t difficult to find everything you need. Simply navigate to the home page and then click on one of the clear tabs. The colour scheme is a bit depressing and dark, which isn’t exactly what you’re looking for from a fun gambling site. There are also lots of adverts about the 21bet promotions and extras hanging around all the pages, which can be a little distracting at times. We would love to see a refresh to the site, with brighter colours and a simpler user interface all round.

Having said that, it’s definitely not difficult to play, games load fast and cleanly, and the site offers great responsive mobile opportunities which really help it stand out from other desktop casinos available. We also love that you can try a lot of games before signing up.

Mobile Casino
Often you find that desktop casinos are brilliant, but when you head to mobile things start to fall apart. That’s not the case here. Although the site has a smaller range of games than some of the older or bigger players, nearly all the games are available for mobile, including slots and table games too. This makes for a great on the go gaming experience for both tablet and mobile, whether you are using iOS, Android, or even Windows Phone or a less popular OS. There are no mobile apps, so you might want to create a shortcut to the site on your phone screen if you enjoy gaming from your handheld device. This can make it just as easy to play via mobile as it would if there were a mobile app.

Almost all the functionality of the site can be found via mobile, optimised for the small screen. This makes it really easy to play your favourite games on the move, including progressive slot games, blackjack and video poker, and more.

The invite only VIP club is the best way that 21bet gamifies the website. There are no leaderboards to speak of, but the VIP club is elite, unique, and open only to people who use the site frequently and responsibly. The site looks at many factors to decide who is eligible to join their club, and you will be contacted directly if you qualify! Word on the street is that trying multiple kinds of games, frequently depositing and withdrawing money, and your losses, winnings and turnover will all contribute!

If you’re lucky enough to be invited to join, you’ll get match bonuses each month, as well as complimentary bet amounts into your inbox, amazing targeted customer support that other people don’t get, and ‘money can’t buy’ experiences and tickets you would never get elsewhere. If that isn’t enough to keep you on 21bet- nothing is!

As well as great games, we always look to see what kinds of extras an online casino offers. This can be anything from welcome bonuses for newbies, to fun VIP clubs or leaderboards, or one off specials which can’t be beaten elsewhere. We like to see a casino treating it’s members right!

Here, there is plenty to like. The 21bet promotions work according to the days of the week. Each day, there is a different opportunity up for grabs. Some are targeted to the style of play, like bonuses for using the mobile casino. Others are directed at specific types of games, for slots or for blackjack for example. There are even promotions for one unique game, perhaps to welcome it to the site if its a new one.

Some of the promotions are for new players, such as generous welcome bonus packages. Others are for existing players, or frequent players. This is fantastic as it means whatever your experience level, there is something for everyone.

One of the most difficult things about 21bet is the lack of payment options. You can only deposit or withdraw money via credit or debit card. No PayPal, no e-wallet or cards, no Skrill or NetEller. This can be a real drag for many users, and could be enough to put you off using the site altogether. If you don’t mind paying via credit card though, then the process is very simple. Deposits are usually made immediately, and withdrawals can take a few days. The maximum earning potential in 24 hours is £500,000– not too shabby.

You can deposit anywhere between £10 and £5,000 per time. There are no fees for withdrawals, unless your withdrawal is less than 50% of what you have deposited. Simply put, you need to play through half of what’s in your account before you can take out a large jackpot, or accept the 5% fee.

Customer Support
  • Live Chat: Yes
  • Email: support-eng@21bet.com
  • Telephone: n/a
  • FAQ: No
  • Availability: Chat 8am-Midnight

Having a live chat service already puts 21bet head and shoulders above a lot of the competition, especially when it’s open from 8am until midnight. We haven’t found a telephone number on their website, and there are no FAQ to be found either, but it’s a simple site, and the live chat should be more than enough for most users.

Our Verdict

As a fairly recent entry to the gaming world, 21bet is doing a great job. They have a medium amount of games, even though they only support two software operators, Microgaming and Realistic Software. We would love to see them accept e-wallets and other payment types which would really help them make a splash amongst the top online casinos, especially as they have a great choice on mobile and a fantastic live casino too.
