Infusing the online casino experience with something cruise-themed is a tall order, and Casino Cruise has done the job well. Established in September 2014, the good ship Casino Cruise knows a thing or two about the online high seas, with many a cool features to boot. Games and Software

Casino Cruise is powered by the two big daddies of the online casino software provider market – Microgaming and NetEnt, along with a whole host of other solid, really well-respected providers, including Evolution Gaming, NYX Interactive, Vivo Gaming and Play’n Go. This in itself is a true mark of the casino’s quality, allowing new players to feel safe, comfortable and ready to enjoy – much as they would do on a cruise itself!

The games themselves are organised into categories, although these could be a bit more filtered. Right now, there’s the option of playing ‘Live Casino, Blackjack, Free Slots, Online Roulette, Online Slots and Poker Games…and that’s about as much filtering as you get. If you know what you’re after, then great. If you don’t, we guess you’ll have to try everything you can.

The ‘Free Slots’ section is a bit confusing, as most – if not all – of the games offered here offer both a Free Play demo and a Real Money mode. In fact, after hours of hovering over slot games, we only found two games which didn’t offer a free play option.

Of all of these games on offer you’ll find each and every one of your usual favourites (Book of the Dead, Jurassic World, Mega Moolah)…except for Rainbow Riches and Starburst. Sorry folks – sometimes you just can’t get what your heart desires out on the high seas.

As far as table games go, it seemed that the Blackjack section is very well-stocked indeed, with 40+ variants. We were pretty impressed…until we realised that the entire Blackjack, Roulette, Poker, Baccarat and table game section had been shoved in together. We saw the exact same when we selected the ‘Online Roulette’ section. Strange. In any case, you’ll find all of the usual games (European and French Blackjack; American and French Roulette), as well as some new and exciting variants – Premier Blackjack High Streak, Big 5 Blackjack Gold and our favourite – Super Fun 21. This ‘lumped together’ approach meant we deducted a point from our score on this section, for pure lack of organisation, as well as an attempt to bulk out their game offering.

Live Casino

Oh my, Casino Cruise! We get that most cruises have their own in-house casino, so it only makes sense that Casino Cruise extends this approach to their online ship.

There are a whopping 74 live games to choose from here, from the likes of Evolution Gaming and  NetEnt. We’re confident in saying that there’s every type of game under the sun here, form Blackjack (Blackjack Grand VIP, High Roller Commondraw Blackjack) to Roulette (Dealer Roulette VIP, French Roulette, Auto Roulette) to Poker (Three Card Poker, Caribbean Stud, Hold’Em Casino Game Lobby), to Baccarat (Speed Baccarat Live, Baccarat Controlled Squeeze, B Baccarat). Whew! There are even some (ok, a lot) of variants we’ve never heard or seen before – Turkish Roulette, Blackjack White, Blackjack F VIP…the list goes on and on.

What’s certain is, if you’re a live casino fan, Casino Cruise is the place to be!

User Interface

This is one smoothly-running ship – everything is, well, smooth. From the nicely displayed menu at the top of the page, to the drop-down menu under each section, Casino Cruise know how to keep a player well-navigated – which, as a cruise, is something we’d be hoping for!

Everything game-wise is very easy to find, nicely subdivided into game categories, other than in the Blackjack section, which, as we mentioned above, had all the casino games lumped together. Otherwise, it’s very easy to search for the types of games you’d like to play, from the crollable games menu about half way down the page.

Mobile Casino

The mobile site looks fabulous, and really echoes, if not mirrors, the desktop site perfectly. Even better – it ran pretty smoothly on Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari and Google Chrome, which was pretty impressive in our books.

There are really nicely designed apps for both Android and iOS users, with seamless interplay between desktop, mobile and app, both of which streamed seamlessly when we tested them. Each app also has the added capability of being able to access live chat and banking options.

Gamification

It seems that fun and games don’t extend to those little extra bits like tournaments, missions and adventures, which is pretty strange for a casino based around a cruise. Ho hum.

Promotions

Here’s where things get exciting, giving you the chance to load up on promotions, extra bonuses and more! There are some nice wide-ranging daily promotions, as well as specific bonuses for the weekend only.

Otherwise, Casino Cruise offers a nice loyalty scheme.

On top of all that, there’s also the chance to become a VIP, just for playing! What happens is, every time you play, you receive loyalty points. Gain enough of these, and the Casino Cruise VIP department will get in touch to invite you to the VIP club. It looks pretty worth it too – with personal bonuses, exclusive VIP events and higher withdrawal amounts, among other exciting goodies!

Banking

Casino Cruise has every type of banking method a player could potentially need, and a universal £10 minimum deposit across all payment methods.

These include credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), ewallet (Neteller, Skrill, ecoPayz), prepaid card (entropay), mobile payments (boku) and instant bank transfer via Trustly. Not bad! The processing time for deposits is instant, meaning you could have your cash in your casino account in just one click.

For withdrawals, there are fewer options available, but, there’s a super low withdrawal minimum of £10. Your withdrawal banking options here include credit cards (Visa and Mastercard), ewallets (Neteller, Skrill, Trustly and ecoPayz) and virtual card entropay. Each withdrawal is instant and fee-free, other than withdrawal to debit card, which may take up to three working days to process. All of the above is a huge thumbs up from us.

Customer Support
  • Telephone: Free phone: 0800170088, International: 00356 27782286
  • FAQ: Yes
  • Availability: 24/7

With a nicely organised support section, it’s a win from us for Casino Cruise. There are three separate emails to contact, depending on whether you’re sending your verification documents, have a complaint, or need some other type of support. There are also two phone numbers, for UK-based players and international ones.

Otherwise, the live chat was answered within 30 seconds of us requesting it, and our query was answered efficiently and politely. For other questions, there’s a really in-depth FAQ section, which is neatly organised into themes – such as Registration, Deposits, Security and more – and their related questions. It even seems like you’ll find any answers you needed here, in the FAQ section, it’s so well organised and deep.

Our Verdict

This is one cruise we’d definitely like to hop-on, if not for the actual chance to win a cruise holiday! With loads of banking options on offer, a super low withdrawal minimum to boot and more, we really like Casino Cruise.

Be it the super slick interface (across all platforms), the promotions on offer and instant deposits and withdrawals, there’s a lot to like here – and that’s before we even get started on the absolutely mind-boggling amount of live casino games on offer.  We’ve never even seen a casino with 74 live games before.

Long story short, if it’s something a bit different or more relaxing you’re after, you’d do well to check out a voyage on Casino Cruise.
