Dunder Casino

Despite being relatively new in town, Dunder launched its way onto the casino market back in March 2016, managing to build a loyal customer base and impressive game library in the process. Dreamt up by self-proclaimed ‘Swedish casino enthusiasts’, Dunder is owned and operated by the well-known and secure MT SecureTrade Limited (based in Malta). As far as casinos go, Dunder provides a fun, easy and great quality user experience with hundreds of games to rummage through and enjoy.

Games and Software

When it comes to game selection, Dunder has an impressive arsenal, hosting over 1,000 games developed by top software providers including NetEnt, Microgaming, Play’n GO, Quickspin, YGG, Play N’ Go, SGI, WMS, Thunderkick, Edict, Betsoft, NextGen Gaming and more!

What’s nice about Dunder is the way that there’s many, many categories and varieties of games to choose from with stunning graphics. All games are easily searchable with the simple search bar tool at the top of the page. You could search, for example, for your favourite software provider, let’s say Microgaming, and it will then give you a list of all the games in that category such as Star Dust, Avalon and Lucky Links. Or search by software provider – for example, Yggdrasil, and you’ll be directed to a classic favourite developed by that provider, such as Valley of the Gods. You can also search by some pretty out-there themed categories, for example, clicking on ‘Egypt’ will lead you to games including the famous Book of Dead and Legend of the Pharaohs. You should probably take a few minutes to check out just how extensive (and weirdly specific) some of these categories are.

There’s something for everyone at Dunder, with Zeus God of Thunder for those who get a kick out of progressive jackpots, some good ol’ classics, including 7’s To Burn, and some amazing video and 3D slots for those looking for a bit extra. For anyone who wants more than just your average slots, there’s also a wide range of modern and classic table games to choose from including, Blackjack, Roulette (the usual European and French variants, along some others), Baccarat, Three Card Poker, Casino Hold’em and more – giving limitless options for all types of players. We especially like the range of live dealer games by Evolution Gaming, one of the leading software developers in the field providing live webcams during play to bring you even closer to the real deal.

The only issue we found is that the writing on the categories is extremely small – unless you’ve got sharp sight, you might need a magnifying glass to see what you’re actually clicking on.

Live Casino

First things first, Dunder powers its live casino with Evolution Gaming software, so you know it’s a good ‘un.

Unfortunately though, for a casino that has so many other games (read: slots), it’s a bit disappointing that there are only five – yes, five – live casino games to choose from.

Of these five, there are:

  • Live Roulette
  • Live Blackjack
  • Live Baccarat
  • Casino Hold’Em
  • Three Card Poker

We don’t even know what to say about this. It’s a bit like Dunder had a checklist when they were building the casino, and under the ‘live games’ part of the list, someone scribbled down a few games to include…and that’s all we see here.

This isn’t anywhere near enough for any massive fan of live gaming, but for a slots enthusiast (i.e., Dunder fans), looking to try out a live game or two (but no more than five), then maybe it’s enough.

User Interface

Dunder is a very nice casino, and a bit different to what’s on the market. It’s also different in the way that it organises its games, and bundles them into themes, which we went into a bit above. This is definitely a casino for players with a theme fetish – we’ve never seen themes like ‘Crime’ and ‘Horror’ before, but we like it.

Everything is very simply laid out, with the games section comprising of a search bar and two buttons – ‘categories’ and ‘all games’ – a very nice, uncomplicated touch. Nice one, Dunder.

Be warned – there’s a lot of whizzing about and automatic scrolling here. This is not a site for the easily nauseous!

Mobile Casino

Just like the site itself, Dunder’s mobile platform is glitch-free and user-friendly – a breath of fresh air when compared to most mobile casinos. And you can breathe a sigh of relief because from what we can see, the vast majority of games are all available so you can spin and play on the go. Like any good online modern casino, there is a high quality app available for both Android and iOS, offering more than 800 games, all of which we tested, ran very smoothly. It’s easy to get customer support and deposit payments with the app, with a simple to use menu-bar that pops out from the side. The app even includes the live casino gaming platform – so you won’t miss out on anything.

Gamification

We’re a little disappointed that a site with such a chunky game database with a fluid and easy-to-use, not to mention sleek interface, doesn’t provide any options for gamification – not even a VIP programme. Many casino sites nowadays offer competition point systems, the option for multi-play and even mission games and championships within the casino. Unfortunately you won’t get any of that with Dunder.

We will give them the benefit of the doubt though, seeing as Dunder is still a fairly new casino. We just have to hope that the team will look into adding a little modern gamification in the near future.

Promotions

Aside from Dunder’s welcome offer, users can take advantage of the occasional other bonuses on the site. We only noticed a couple of promotions hanging around and feel that Dunder could definitely up their game in that department. As always, be sure to read the terms and conditions of each promotional offer – most bonuses on Dunder require a deposit to reap the benefits of these offers and may follow strict terms and conditions.

Dunder also has a VIP loyalty programme on offer, where loyal Dunder customers will be rewarded with exclusive offers and promotions every now and then. Overall, Dunder’s loyalty programme isn’t much to rave about and could definitely do with an overhaul. The basics are there, we just hope that they jazz it up a bit in the near future.

Banking

All payment methods with Dunder require a minimum deposit fee of £20, and are processed instantly – just how we like it. You can pay via Visa, MasterCard, Trustly, Skrill, Neteller, Euteller, ecoPayz, Paysafe. You’ll easily be able to withdraw said money (also minimum £20) with most of the above-named payment methods, and get the money back sharpish (in most cases, instant)… except for if you request a withdrawal via Mastercard  – there is no way to withdraw if Mastercard was your withdrawal weapon of choice.

For those who’d like to withdraw using Visa or Trustly, unfortunately, the withdrawal processing time will not be instant: it’ll be a 1-3 day wait. This isn’t terribly high for a withdrawal waiting time, but for those who aren’t keen on sitting around and waiting for their money to get back to them, we’d suggest an alternative withdrawal method to Visa or Trustly.

Customer Support
  • Live Chat: Yes (11am to 11pm UK time)
  • Email: help@dunder.com
  • Telephone: No
  • FAQ: Yes
  • Availability: 24/7 etc

Dunder offers a highly responsive and friendly live chat option. When we tried out the live chat service we got a response within a mere few seconds. Be aware however that the livechat is available only to Dunder customers – i.e., only those who are logged in. Otherwise, you can reach the customer support team via email where you should receive a response on the same day. You could also head over to the extensive FAQ section and may find that most of your questions have already been answered.

Our Verdict

All in all, Dunder is an extremely diverse and user-friendly online casino. The overwhelmingly abundant games library is nicely organised into easily searchable categories. This search engine goes above and beyond as users can search by categories, themes, games and even software providers, so you’ll never lose sight of your favourite games. We’re a bit sad that Dunder is missing out when it comes to a gamification, a loyalty programme and (shockingly) – a good live casino. For those who are looking for a visually pleasing and modern gaming experience, with almost every game under the sun, Dunder is the way to go.
