We think there’s a reason they call it Luckland, with over 800 games to choose from, you have to be pretty unlucky to not find something you like. Almost every odd game we could think of was available, from NetEnt’s Starburst to Microgaming’s Bar Bar Black Sheep to Bonanza from Big Time Gaming, the selection is wide and diverse at Luckland.
Looking for a classic fruit-themed slot with a twist? There’s Fruity Friends, Ninja Fruit, Tropical Fruit and more. Are you a fan of fantasy-like, dragon slots? Luckland has Dragon Wins, Imperial Dragons. A Dragon Story and more!
There are branded slots like Ted and Game of Thrones or Classic slots like Dragon’s Gold, Music Room and Oasis Dreams. Whatever slot takes your fancy, you’re likely to find or something very similar, at Luckland.
On top of the slots, there are plenty of Scratch Cards – The Fairy Tale, World Champions, Triple Money Match and Royal Slots, to name a few – plus a small selection of table games. This is probably the biggest letdown of the collection: we only found a scant selection of our favourite card games. There’s Blackjack, Roulette and a few Video Poker varieties (Deuces Wild and Jacks or Better) but there aren’t too many of creative or unique versions that we like to see. Aside from this though, the casino floor is well stocked and full of favourites.
This was the other disappointing category of Luckland – the one place we felt, well, not so lucky. The Live Casino section is very small, in fact, it’s tucked in with the Casino Games as it doesn’t really have the legs to stand up on its own. Made of nine games – variations of Roulette and Blackjack with a lone Live Baccarat Squeeze thrown into the mix – the Live Casino is nice but a bit of a letdown. There is Evolution Gaming’s Live Dream Catcher which is always a fun time, but aside from that, there wasn’t anything that really stood out as special.
While Luckland has so many great software providers filling its regular casino, it doesn’t really carry through with its Live Casino floor. The Live games we tried all look nice, are, professional and entertaining, we just wish there was more of them. We feel there’s a lot of untapped potential in this section.
Luckland is a neatly organised online casino with three main tabs at the top of the page that’ll take you to the Casino, Live Casino, and Scratchcards. Your account and all your banking information and abilities can easily be accessed via the menu in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
As per most casinos, the Terms and Conditions, as well as important information in small print, is available along the bottom of the page. However, Luckland does it quite well and has everything really neatly organised into a few sections: About Us, Security & Privacy, Information, Getting Started and Extras. It’s nice to see that they’ve taken the time in creating a page that really is easy to navigate.
When you are actually in the casino page, there is another menu bar that has a few preset categories to choose from to make finding games easy: New, Video Slots, Classic, Casino Games, Scratch Cards. There’s no filter option to move the games around but there is a search function that works great, except you can’t search by software provider. Finding Promotions, the Exclusive Club and the Help page are easy, as they’re all on the second menu next to the Games tab. It might sound complicated in text, but in use, it’s all pretty sensible.
Luckland Casino is definitely one of the better mobile casinos that we’ve encountered over the years. The full menu is available just like on the desktop site, so it’s easy to navigate across all the pages of Luckland. Tap the menu button on the top left-hand corner of the screen and you’ll easily find all the options you could want: the search function to find favourite games, the Promotions page and even the Live Chat are all right there. We tested the Live Chat and it loaded instantly and we received a response in less than a minute.
As for the games themselves, they worked really well on our mobile. There’s no shortage of selection and every game that we tried loaded quickly and worked great. Likewise, even though the Live Casino isn’t so large, the games played fantastically and the graphics looked amazing even from our phones.
On a whole, Luckland has really put together a great mobile site so there’s need for an app. Whether you have an iOS or an Android operating system, you should have no issues with Luckland.
We didn’t notice any real signs of gamification at Luckland. On the main page there is a Winners board which scrolls with recent winners, including the game they won on and how much money they made. However, aside from that we didn’t find any missions or goals that help enhance play in a competitive way. Better luck next time, Luckland.
There was a handful of promotions available at Luckland when we were scoping out the site. Aside from a rather generous welcome offer – it’s subject to change, so check it out before signing up – there were a few other promos available. We saw weekly offers and daily offers, as well as quite an exciting lottery giveaway, so there’s plenty of little perks and bonuses to take advantage of at Luckland.
On top of that, there is quite a nice VIP Program, which you’re instantly enrolled in as a member. You can work your way up the levels from Bronze VIP to Silver VIP and all the way up to Premium VIP and Prestige VIP. With each level, there’s added benefits like free games, a personal account manager and express withdrawals. It’s a decent selection of benefits and it’s nice to be included right from the get-go. The VIP Program in combination with the promotions make for a nice group of extras at Luckland.
All the most popular banking options are available at Luckland for every player’s convenience. You can make a deposit with VISA, Mastercard, Skrill, Skrill 1-Tap, Neteller, Bank Transfer, Paysafecard, Entropay, and Fast Bank Transfer. All deposits are instant except for Bank Transfer which can take up to 6 days – ouch. Meanwhile, the minimum deposit is £20 which is a little higher than the standard. We find plenty of casinos that offer a deposit as low as £10 and even a few with £5 as their minimum.
As for withdrawals, they can only be made done with certain payment types – not Paysafecard or Fast Bank Transfer, for example – so check the payment options before you deposit. The fastest withdrawal times are with Trustly, Neteller and Skrill, which have a 3 business days transaction period, all other methods could take between 6 and 8 days, which is quite slow in this day and age. There are no fees on any of the transaction types, which is good, unless of course, your bank has any fees. Overall, Luckland offers great payment options but the lag times on the deposits is pretty disappointing.
The Customer Support section can be found in a few different ways on the site. From the menu, click About Us and the Contact Us option will appear below. From there, a pop up will offer you the option to Contact Us By E-Mail, Call Us, or Chat With Us. The Call Us option wanted us to open up an app that we didn’t have so that was a bit of a problem. On the other hand, the Live Chat responded in under a minute. We found them responsive but somewhat evasive, it was hard to get them to tell us exactly what the payout percentage average was for Luckland and they just kept redirecting us to different pages or comments. Next time, we’d appreciate a little more transparency!
For a fairly new casino, Luckland has made quite an image of itself. They’re one of the most well-organised online gaming platforms ever and their selection of 800 or so games is awesome. Try it out for free and get access to about 250 of their games before signing up, but remember that everything is mobile optimized and the promotions are plentiful.
