How to Play:

It’s really easy to get started with Viking Runecraft – don’t be thrown by the cluster pays system!

As with most slots, you need to select your bets before you spin.

  • Set your bet between 10p (the minimum) and  £100 (if you’re feeling lucky – the maximum bet available).
  • You can either click to spin the reels each time, or have the autoplay feature do this for you automatically.
  • You need to then match the symbols in ‘clusters’- 5 or more of one symbol next to one another on the reels. Once this happens, the cluster explaodes on screen, and you’ll get a nice payout. Then, the reels cascade – meaning you might even get a few more wins!

What’s cute about the game is that the symbols are all to do with Norse and Viking mythology. You’ll recognise these symbols, even if you have no clue about the historical period!

The symbols you’ll see are:

  • Hammer
  • Helmet
  • Axe
  • Pendant
  • Purple rune
  • Gold rune
  • Lilac rune
  • Green rune

Important symbols in Viking Runecraft Slot:

  • Wild: The Norse gods and goddesses
  • Scatter: There is no scatter symbol
  • High value symbols: The Hammer, the Helmet and the Axe symbols

Unfortunately, there’s no progressive jackpot available to play here, but there are still some sizable prices and wins to be had! The base game has a nice array of payouts available, provided you get big clusters, and the special features are very nicely paying too. Viking Runecraft has an RTP of 96.7%

Special Features and Bonuses:

There are some excellent bonus features, with a different Viking at the helm, to keep you interested! You’ll notice a metre in the base game, which is just next to the reels. Every time you win, the metre rises. Once it’s full, you’ll find yourself in one of the 4 ‘Destruction’ modes! This is where the big wins are up for grabs!

  • Fury of Fenrir: you’ll see 4 diagonal lines randomly chosen, before two are removed. The ones left standing change into matching symbols…which leave you with a big win!
  • Judgement of Jörmungandir: Watch out – there’s a snake about! The snake slides across the reels, taking out random symbols…and the magically changing the ones left into matching symbols.
  • Lure of Loki: you’ll see two symbols on the reels chosen. One type will be removed from the reels, only to replaced by the other type of symbol chosen.
  • Ragnarok Free Spins: if you’re lucky enough to see your metre charged twice in the saame spin, you unlock the Ragnarok Free Spins, for 1 free spin and 15x multiplier!

The great thing about this game are the gods and goddesses behind it – Thor, Odin, Freya and heimdall, each giving you a different bonus. But to activate these, you need to clear the paths of each god, which is done by chaining wins in certain reel positions. Each time you do so, you go up a level, meeting a new god…until you get t the ultimate ‘Level of the Gods’. If you’re unlucky and don’t win for several rounds, you’ll see one of the gods drop into the reels and give you:

  • Thor: 5-9 symbols turn wild
  • Odin: 2 vertical wilds will appear
  • Freya: a 4-wild cluster is added to the reels
  • Heimdall: 1 wild is added to each row

Graphics and Sounds:

Between the thunderous background music and the gorgeously drawn Viking gods, you’ll have a fabulous time. No need to know anything about Norse mythology, either – we’re certain you’ll enjoy this slot regardless!

This is a really exciting slot – between the amazing graphics and soundtrack and all of those fabulous bonuses on offer, this is one for fans of exciting, action-packed gameplay!
