Thrills Casino

Having been around since 2013, Thrills certainly knows what it takes to ‘thrill’ its audience of fun-loving players! Based in Malta and UK-licensed, Thrills is the place to go for a fun casino experience, and especially if you like slots. It’s okay, it's cool, and it’s certainly thrilling.

Games and Software

Thrills is powered by the mighty NetEnt, and therefore, has all of those NetEnt goodies that’ll keep you entertained and thrilled (pun intended). There are over 1000 games on offer here – and yes, you did read that correctly. 1000 games.

There’s a little bit of confusion when it comes to categorising the slots – for example, under the ‘video slots’ section, we found Mega Moolah, Hall of Gods and Major Millions… AKA some of the most famous progressive jackpot games known to man, and which were also hosted on the jackpot slots page. This isn’t really a problem, as such – after all, who doesn’t want to play a progressive jackpot game? – it was just a little strange and messy. On the table games front, there are 28 non-live games to choose from, ranging from Blackjack (36 variants, including live games), to Roulette (24 games, including live games), to table poker games and Keno. In all honesty, there is enough here to keep an experimental table game player excited and happy – but it looks like Thrills is much more slots-focused: sorry, table game fans!

Live Casino

Thrills’ live casino is certainly thrilling (we refuse to apologise for that one!). Firstly, the live casino is powered by the one and only Evolution Gaming, as well as big daddy NetEnt. Then, there are over 40 live games to choose from, with an excellent variety of both standard games, and some exciting new variants!

There are Blackjack variants (Exclusive Blackjack Paris, Common Draw Blackjack, Blackjack Platinum VIP), Roulette variants (Rocket Roulette, London Roulette, Immersive Roulette), randing from the standard to the downright exotic. Ooh er! There’s also a nice range of Baccarat (Baccarat, Baccarat Squeeze) and Poker variants too (Ultimate Texas Hold’Em, Casino Hold’Em) and hot new favourite, Dream Catcher.

Stakes start from 75p, which is ok (but we’ve definitely seen lower elsewhere online), and could be up to as high as £75,000 for some premium games.

User Interface

Thrills is certainly very clean and modern looking. Everything is neatly compartmentalised – the menu swoops in from the side, with links to everything you need account-wise (Games, Promotions, Bonus-O-Meter, Freebies Vault and Lightning League).

The games too are organised nicely: the games page is divided into Featured, Live Casino, Video Slots, Jackpots, Classic Slots, Bonus-O-Meter, Table Games and Other games, and has a clearly visible search bar on top. Any new games which are added to the site will proudly display a purple ‘new’ ribbon. Overall, it’s really easy to find what you’re looking to play.

Mobile Casino

Wow. Thrills has one good-looking, smooth-playing mobile site on offer.

Everything is gorgeous – from the colours, to the graphics, to the design – it all just pops, and works. The mobile site’s home page greets you personally, updating you about promotions you might be interested in, and navigating in general is easy and clear to do.

The games are displayed as pretty big tiled squares – no mistaken or accidental clicking here! – and the menu is easily clickable too. The game categories from the desktop site also makes an appearance – and it’s sliding too, for added fun!

Otherwise everything you’d want to see from the desktop site is here – including the menu links to the Bonus-O-Meter, Freebies Vault, Message and more. The live chat works nicely from any smartphone OS, as does making a deposit. Nice one, Thrills!

We were actually bating our breath to check out Thrills’ mobile apps – after all, the mobile site was so nicely presented, we were a little scared that we’d be disappointed by the apps. But, it was not so: the apps are just as beautifully developed as the sites are, with extra goodies for app players – both Android and iOS!

Gamification

Where do we even begin, when it comes to Thrills?

Gamification was practically made for Thrills. Between the Bonus-O-Meter, Freebies Vault and Lightning League, you’ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to the extra bits and bobs which make you tick.

First up: the Bonus-O-Meter: you’ll see a Bonus-O-Meter itself on the right-hand side, with levels 1-8. On the left, you’ll see what you need to do in order to get to the next level: this includes playing the games on offer and (for example) winning bonus rounds in those games.

The Freebies Vault is where you go to find the bonuses you’ve won playing in the Bonus-O-Meter, and, as they like to remind you, ‘any winnings from your Freebies are without wagering requirements or other mumbo jumbo’. Nice! The Freebies Vault also houses any extra perks you might earn, so make sure to check it out frequently.

The Lightning League is where you go enter tournaments and races. You have 10 games to choose from, and playing any of these will get you higher up the leaderboard, displayed to the right….and which showcases all the potential prizes on offer, which will get better as you increase your leaderboard position.

Needless to say, Thrills gets a solid 5/5 from us here.

Promotions

‘Exciting Times Ahead, Thrill Seeker’ should set the tone for what your in for when it comes to promotions at Thrills.

In addition to all of the extra bits – the Lightning League, Bonus-O-Meter etc – there’s a Happy Hour mid-week offer (race up the Lightning Leaderboard at double speed), a weekly offer (where you can play qualifying games for double the leaderboard speed) and more, including second, third and fourth deposit bonuses, as well as reloads and more. The higher your level in the Bonus-O-Meter, the more bonuses you shall see!

Unfortunately, there’s no VIP scheme available – but really, with all of the other excitement on offer, there’s no real need for one, You’ll feel like a VIP anyway.

Banking

Here’s where Thrills falls down a bit. Although making deposits and withdrawals are as stylish and fun as the rest of the site, there are only a few banking options available to do so. For deposits, these are Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Trustly and Paysafecard. Each of these methods require a £10 deposit, and are fee-free.

As far as withdrawals go, it’s bank transfer… or nothing. Again, this is fee-free and only £10 minimum, but still.

If this sounds a bit disappointing, don’t be so sure – what Thrills lacks in its variety of deposit and withdrawal options, it makes up for in speed. Withdrawals are processed within 24 hours – some of the fastest times we’ve ever seen, specially for bank transfers (which are usually notorious for taking up to a week).

Customer Support
  • Live Chat: Yes
  • Email: support-en@thrills.com
  • Telephone: None
  • FAQ: No
  • Availability: 24/7

Quite unexpectedly, Thrills doesn’t seem to have an FAQ. ‘Unexpectedly’, because we’d assumed that such a top casino site (in so many ways) would also have all the other bits and bobs we’d come to expect.. such as an FAQ. Yet, it was nowhere to be found. Not only that, but FAQs are such a great way to let the casino’s personality shine through, it seems like an easy opportunity to have missed. Ho hum.

Otherwise, there’s a 24/7 live chat available, which was very quickly answered, as well as politely and informatively. There’s also an email address, but no phone number. We guess this is just the new, modern way of doing customer support; we find it hard to believe it’s laziness. Thrills does so many other things to well, that we find it hard to believe this is a mere oversight.

Our Verdict

Wow. Thrills certainly is thrilling (pun intended, and we won’t apologise for it either) – from the Bonus-O-Meter, to the Leaderboard, to the cool new approach at online casinos, to the games on offer and the insanely quick withdrawals processing, this really is the place to be – for both online casino and fun.

Of course, true perfection has to be imperfect, and if we were rally nitpicking, we’d mention the lack of an FAQ and more deposit options would be it. But, when something is this great, does any of that really matter? We think not.
